The barn was built in the late 16th century and now restored to an extremely high standard offers a secluded venue for a unique rustic style wedding in the Hertfordshire countryside. The barn can be hired for both ceremony and reception with a capacity of up to 120 people. The formal gardens on the estate are also available for wedding photographs.
If you’re looking for a private, intimate boutique venue Coltsfoot may be the one for you. A huge barn with a grand feeling, Essendon gives you a large amount of space to hold your wedding ceremony and reception. Set in a double golf course but you’d never know it due to the size of the grounds. The barn gives great scope for decorating to your own scheme and you can make a grand entrance down the internal staircase down onto the dance floor. The food at this venue is amazing and Jo the wedding coordinator goes above and beyond to ensure each and every aspect of your day is perfect.

Set within the sprawling acres of Hatfield Park in Hertfordshire where Queen Elizabeth I spent much of her childhood, Hatfield House offers two very different venues the historic and grand Old Palace or the contemporary Riding School.
The Downshire Suite at Hertford Castle comprises of three rooms, The Mayor’s Parlour, The Salisbury Room and the Conservatory overlooking the Castle Wall and the arched entrance to the Moat Gardens.
The Mayflower Place is a hidden gem, an historic wood-panelled hall seating up to 160 guests for weddings or parties with in-house catering available. The venue has ample parking and enjoys great views over to Panshanger Park.
